I've been freelancing as Baughman Brandworks since 2022, and working in marketing at Quirk Auto Group since 2021. This isn't an agency. It's just me, which means you talk to the person doing the work, every time.

Who is Baughman Brandworks?
Baughman Brandworks is Alex Moreau-Baughman, a designer, web developer and photographer in Bangor, Maine, freelancing since 2022. It's a one-person studio, so the person you talk to is the person doing the work.

Do you do branding or photography?
Both, for two kinds of clients. Businesses hire me for brand identity, websites and brand photography that all match. People hire me for senior, couple, family and pet portraits. Same photographer, same eye, two different ways to work together.
Where do you work?
Alex is based in the Bangor area and works with businesses and people across Maine. Web, design and social media work can be done for clients anywhere; photography is usually in Maine.
Do your websites help with Google and AI search?
Yes. Every site is fast, mobile-first and built with clear page titles, structured data, a sitemap and plain-language answers, so Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI tools can understand and cite it. Google Business Profile setup is included.
How does a project start?
Send a message or call (207) 356-1266. We talk through what you need, I send a clear proposal and timeline, and then we get to work with check-ins along the way.
Do you work with small businesses and startups?
That's most of the work. Clients range from a one-person boat wrapping business, a soap startup and a Brewer gym to Quirk Auto Group's dealerships.
